The Finance Director, Global Media & Marketing will play a key strategic role in the following areas:
Driving value from key change initiatives in marketing including roll out of a global digital strategy and delivering a new model for creative agency fees.
Leading the development and deployment of Finance, driving digital communication strategies and working closely with the category and brand finance organisation
Providing finance expertise and performance management to the SVPs Global Marketing, Media and Business Intelligence and their leadership teams
Ensuring the corporation maximizes its commercial interests from media, creative and digital agency relationships including media pitches, credit terms and media buying negotiations
Performance manage significant investments in overheads totalling c.£250m including budget setting and dynamic resource allocation
Leading and coaching a team of 5 junior and mid level finance professionals
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
An Internationally recognised accounting qualification and/ or MBA with a minimum of 10 years commercial experience
Significant experience gained within either a digital media and marketing agency or consumer brand owner
Proven track record of finance leadership with exceptional influencing and communication skills
Core suite of planning and analysis skills with ability to shape and implement finance strategy
An abundance of emotional intelligence, charisma and passion
